Treadmill Desk noise level

Decibel Readings

How loud is the Tread? Will the noise level annoy other workers in the office?
Well, there are a couple of answers to these questions depending on how fast you are walking and the type of shoes you wear. The charts below should help illustrate how loud our Tread is when compared to other common noises.

Decibel level readings were taken with an Extech Instruments sound meter. The readings were taken at the height of the work surface at speeds ranging from 0.5 mph up to 4.0 mph and those findings are listed on the left.

On the right is a chart that illustrates noise levels of common things that we can all relate to. This is provided to draw a comparison as to what the noise level of the Tread is most like.

When compared to other treadmills on the market today, the TreadDesk Trd-09 is definitely on the quiet end of the spectrum.
