Yes, we've become a nation of desk potatoes. We're committed more to getting ahead professionally and financially than we are to our personal wellness. Our bodies are designed to move, but sedentary living has invaded every aspect of our lives. Did you know that people who sit most of the day are up to 54 percent more likely to die of a heart attack? That's according to Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, the official journal of the American College of Sports Medicine.
