Knocking sound from the deck area:


If you are hearing a knocking sound which appears to be coming from the
deck area, it is most likely due to an uneven tension on the walking belt. If
one side of the belt is tighter than the other side, this can cause the bearings
inside the roller to start knocking. To fix this problem you will need to tighten
up the side of the roller that is loose. Using the larger hex wrench that came
with your Tread, turn the screw on the back of the roller clockwise one full turn.
If the knocking continues, turn it another full turn.
